This is the second CD in the “Elvis Le Canta A Mexico” series. Just as with Volume One , the front cover shows a copy of a color oil painting done by Mr. Edgar Montes de Oca. His signature appears in the lower left corner. The painting shows Elvis wearing a Mexican outfit as he did in “Fun In Acapulco”. The inside of the insert lists the 2 tracks included on the CD and a short synopsis behind the series , the songs and Elvis’ ties to Mexico. The back of the insert shows a color picture of a Mexican rarity - El Rey Criollo (King Creole) LP form 1958 and history behind the record. The back cover shows a color picture of Elvis that was used on the rear of the original “Fun In Acapulco” LP cover. It is the one coupled with the “Fun In Acapulco” track on the LP. The same picture is used under the see-through tray holding the CD. In addition , the back cover lists the tracks and contains the cover of the first CD in the series. At the bottom of the cover it states : “Disco Promocional -Prohibida Su Venta -Hecho En Mexico”. The CD itself is a picture disc showing the same picture as on the cover utilizing different shades of turquoise and black. The disc also contains the BMG/RCA logos and the painter’s signature. In addition, the title “The All Time Greatest Hits” is replaced by “25 Grandes Exitos”. In addition, the titles of the 4 tracks included on this release are listed at the bottom of the front cover. The “Promocional - Prohibida Su Venta” (Not For Sale) phrase is printed in the top left corner of the front cover. The rear cover only lists the tracks contained on this release. The CD itself is a picture disc using the cover picture as its artwork with black lettering. The disc lists the four tracks and states: “Promocional - Prohibida Su Venta”. It also contains the BMG logo at the bottom of the disc.

Across the top part of the front cover it states : “CD Single Promocional Del Album A Mi Manera” (Promocional CD Single from the Album My Way). The overleaf of the insert states : “Promotional Prohibida Su Venta” (Promotional Not For Sale). The track titles and the BMG logo are also printed on the cover. The inside of the insert also shows the front cover of the commercial album “A Mi Manera”. The two tracks contained on this promo CD are also listed.

Issued in 1997 by BMG Australia to promote the reissues of ‘Blue Hawaii’ - ‘G.I. Blues’ - ‘Loving You’ - ‘King Creole’ and ‘Jailhouse Rock’ soundtrack releases. 

At first glance it appears that this release is identical to its European cousin. However, it is not the case.  First of all , this Australian release is presented in a slim jewel case. The front cover is a little bit darker and the picture appears to be out of focus. In addition , the word “Sampler” has been deleted from the front cover. Since this CD is presented in a slim jewel case, there is no back cover and the disc is visible through the jewel case. The inside of the cover insert lists the 10 tracks included on the release and shows the color covers of the 5 reissued soundtracks. The entire layout has a look of a mosaic puzzle. It is very colorful and totally different than the European release. At the bottom left corner it states : “Promo Only - Not For Sale”. The CD itself is a picture disc featuring the cover photo against a blue background with the title in silver and light blue lettering. The European disc is much lighter and the lettering is all silver. The disc also states: “For Promotional Use Only - Not For Sale” and contains the RCA and BMG logos.

The front cover shows three identical, but different size black and white pictures of Elvis from 1957 (same one as the cover of the bootleg CD - “When All Was Kool”) on a yellow background. The titles of the 6 tracks are also listed on the front cover. In the lower right corner, there is the RCA logo. The inside of the insert again shows the three pictures and lists the titles of the tracks. In addition , the covers and catalog numbers of the two releases being promoted are listed. It also states : “Romantic Songs and Gospel Music were Elvis’ favourite styles”. RCA and BMG logos are also printed in the lower right corner. The overleaf of the insert states : “For Promotional Use Only - Not For Resale - PROCD21032.” The CD itself is black with silver print. The title of the release is printed in the upper part of the CD. Just like its Dutch counterpart , this six-track CD also comes in a beautiful digipack package. The front of the digipack boasts a full color picture from Elvis’ 26th movie “Stay Away , Joe”. The title of the release is printed across the top of the front cover. Across the bottom of the cover it states : “40 Years United Elvis Presley Society”. The inside of the digipack again shows a gorgeous color photo of Elvis from the 1960’s. It also contains a short write up by Peter Verbruggen , the author of “King of Belgium” , about the history of the Belgium Fan Club as well as Elvis’ popularity in that country. The Fan club contact information is given and the acknowledgement that “this CD has been especially produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of The United Elvis Presley Society.” All pictures used in this release are credited to Joe Tunzi. The rear cover has a sharp red background and portrays a smiling Elvis from the 1960’s. The six tracks and their corresponding recording data are printed on the rear cover. The RCA and BMG logos and the promotional warning are also printed. The CD itself is a gorgeous color picture disc exhibiting a totally different photo form the ones used on the digipack. The RCA and BMG logos are printed in the middle section of the disc. The promotional warning and the catalog prefix are also printed on the disc.

Issued in 2002 by BMG Austria to promote the “Elvis 30 #1 Hits” CD in Austria. This Austrian enhanced CD comes in a white paper sleeve which was attached to the number 33 of the Austrian “News” magazine. The front page of the magazine contained a reference to this enhanced CD package. The magazine contains a number of Elvis related articles. The enhanced CD is a picture disc showing a close up picture of Elvis from 1957. The title of the CD is printed across the top of the CD. The BMG Austria logo is also printed on the label. The contents of this enhanced CD are listed at the bottom of the CD label. It also states in German that the commercial CD will be available for sale on September 23rd.

Only 500 copies were pressed and each release was individually numbered in the left bottom corner of the front CD sleeve. The front cover contains a color picture of Elvis kneeling on one knee taken from his “Aloha From Hawaii TV Special” on a yellow background. In addition , the front sleeve also reprints Elvis’ message: “To my friends in Belgium , Elvis”. The back cover contains a black background and the title of the release is printed in red print. A color picture showing the cover of the “King of Belgium” book and “Always Elvis Volume 1 and Volume 2” CD releases are also reproduced on the back. The back cover also lists the four tracks included on the CD. It also states in Dutch that this is a promo CD limited to 500 copies. In addition , the BMG and RCA logos are reproduced on the back cover. The CD itself is yellow with black and red print. The title is printed in the upper part of the disc. On the left side , it states : “Promotional Copy – Limited Edition”. The track titles are printed in the lower part of the disc. This 2 track promo CD is presented in a slim jewel case. This release was only available as a bonus CD with the purchase of the Belgian 52 CD Graceland box set release. The entire design of the front cover is rooted on a 'moody blue' background. It portrays three painted images of Elvis from 1969,1970 and 1971. The titles of the two tracks on the CD are written across the entire cover. In addition, in large pink letters, resembling the Las Vegas type banners, Elvis’ name is shown in the top left corner. Inside the insert/cover is an article written by Marc Hendrickx in Dutch and French. A small picture from December 10, 1976 is also included showing Elvis in his 'Rainbow Suit' meeting a Belgian female fan. The back cover lists the two tracks on the CD. At the bottom it states: 'For Promotional Use Only. Not For Sale'. The RCA and BMG logos are also displayed. The disc is a picture disc showing a close up picture of Elvis from one of the 'That’s The Way It Is' concerts. The picture is contrived using different shades of blue with silver print. In addition , the 20th Anniversary logo is printed in the top right corner of the front cover. Since this CD is presented in a slim jewel case , there is no back cover and the disc is visible through the jewel case. The inside of the cover insert lists the 4 tracks included on the release. The overleaf of the insert states : “Promocional Invendavel” meaning “Promotional Release. The CD itself is a beautiful picture disc featuring the cover photo but without the 20th Anniversary logo. In addition , the BMG and RCA logos are also printed on the disc. In this case , the disc itself does not refer to the usual: “For Promotional Use Only - Not For Sale” phrase.

This 5 track promo CD is presented in a two fold digipack. The front cover of the digipack shows a rustic picture of the Memphis Bridge as well as a picture of Elvis from a 1970 concert over the background. The title of the release is printed in white print at the top of the cover. The inside of the digipack contains two short narratives in English by Arjan G. Deelen and in Danish by Maj-Britt and Hendrik Knudsen. Underneath the CD tray , there is another picture of the Memphis Bridge. In addition , there are quotes from : Glenn D. Hardin , Ronnie Tutt , Jerry Scheff , The Stamps , Ernst Mikael Jorgensen , Sam Philips , Shaun Nielsen , Thomas Larsen , and Patsy Anderson. The first pressing have the numbers 0001 till 1000 and the second pressing are numbered from 1001 till 2500 ! The backcover is also black with big white letters : ELVIS PRESLEY continues with RGAS TO RICHES - I'M LEAVIN' than Elvis Presley Fan Club Limited Edition. White RCA logo and white text "Promo Use Only - Not For Resale EPFC001. The disc is black with gold RCA logo and white text. This 4 track enhanced CD comes in a cardboard picture sleeve and limited to 50,000 copies. This CD release was given free of charge with the co-operation of “The Sunday Telegraph” newspaper. A completed voucher in the March 11 - 2001 newspaper had to be taken to Sainsbury’s for redemption of this 4 track enhanced CD. The front page of “The Sunday Telegraph” newspaper contained a reference to this CD package. The inside of the newspaper contained a black and white picture of Elvis from the “68 Comeback” and references to the “Elvis – The Concert” , “Elvis Presley Live Greatest Hits’ CD , “Elvis - That’s The Way It – Special Edition” screenings and “Elvis Today” magazine. In addition , a 6-day trip to Memphis was also sponsored and given away as part of this promotion. The front cover depicts a color picture of Elvis from the “That’s The Way It Is” rehearsal. In addition , it also contains the “The Sunday Telegraph” logo as well as the following phrases : “Four track enhanced CD featuring Elvis video screensavers – That’s The Way It Is – The Greatest Live Performances Of Elvis Presley – Plus win a holiday for two to Memphis”. In addition , the “Produit Promotionnel – Interdit a la vente” – “Promotional Product – Not For Sale” phrase is also printed on the back cover. The CD itself is made to look as a Sun Records acetate. The book is a beautifully produced soft cover publication. It presents an extensive discography of French releases of singles , EP’s , LPs and CDs. The book is in full color and displays all covers , track listings and values for all the releases. The bonus CD is the replica of the old French EP “Rock And Roll No 2”. It is presented in a cardboard sleeve replicating the original EP including the actual size. On the right side on the back cover it states : “Ne Peut Etre Vendu Separement” – “Not For Sale Separately”. The disc itself is black with white print and is made to resemble a record with black label. The BMG and RCA logos are printed along the “My Happiness” Fan Club logo. The CD is attached to a cardboard square , which fits inside the 45RPM-size sleeve. The front of the cardboard displays the front cover of the French EP “Rock And Roll No 3”. The back of the cardboard gives us a brief synopsis behind these French historical releases and lists the tracks contained on this release.

The cover of the second EP edition is more interesting as it was different than the first EP release from 1959 which was identical to the US release. In addition , the entire package also comes with a CD size Christmas Card. The front page of the card has a picture of a Santa Claus and a Snowman and states : “Season’s Greetings from Elvis and Klaus , Andrea and Wolfi”. The inside of the card states : “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”. At the bottom of the second page we also have the BMG Entertainment International Strategic Marketing logo. The third page contains a black and white photo of Elvis opening Christmas gifts. The fourth page of the card is blank except for the following statement : “Limited Reprint of Original E.P. “Elvis Sings Christmas Songs” For Private Use Only” The CD itself is a replica of the original label from the original EP. Nowhere on the CD does it state that the CD is promotional or Not For Sale. Again, a very limited number of copies of this release have been pressed. The value of the the CD with the card is higher than when you have the CD only !

The rear cover lists the 11 tracks contained on the release. In addition , a small color picture of Elvis in concert sitting on a stool is included. The BMG and RCA logos are also printed. In addition , the “Not For Sale” phrase is also printed in bold white letters. The CD design is the same as the fourth CD in the commercial 4 CD set. The front picture of the sleeve is also identical to the front picture of the commercial CD release. The rear of the sleeve contains a color picture of a Santa Claus and a Snowman. On the left side it states : “Season’s Greetings from Elvis and All Of Us”. The sleeve also contains the BMG Entertainment - Strategic Catalogue Marketing logo. The CD itself is identical to the commercially released one – red background with white print. Nowhere on this release does it say : “Not For Sale -Promo Only”. This is the third release in the “Elvis Le Canta A Mexico” series. Like the previous two volumes , the front cover shows a copy of a color profile oil painting done by Mr. Edgar Montes de Oca. The painting shows a young Elvis wearing a plain white shirt and a jacket. The inside of the insert contains a short synopsis behind the series and this release. It also contains a color picture of Mr. Edgar Montes de Oca with the painting at the art exhibition at Graceland in 1999. The back of the insert shows a picture of Elvis from King Creole. It also states in Spanish that this CD is limited to 1,500 copies. A close up of the picture used on the cover is also used under the see-through tray holding the CD. In addition , the back cover lists the tracks and shows a close up picture of Elvis from 1958. At the bottom of the cover it states : “Disco Promocional. Prohibida Su Venta.” The BMG and RCA logos are also printed. 1500 copies were pressed. The CD itself is a picture disc showing an action shot of Elvis from the 50’s utilizing different shades of blue. The disc also contains the BMG and RCA logos. This is the fourth CD in the “Elvis Le Canta A Mexico” series. Unlike with previous volumes , this release contains an actual color collage of Elvis pictures and not a painting as the front cover. The picture used for the collage is a color picture from 1956. The title of the release is also printed on the front cover along the picture collage utilizing bright yellow and pink print. The inside of the insert lists the 3 tracks included on the CD. It also contains a reproduction of the original charcoal drawing of Elvis as an angel. The back of the insert shows a color picture of a Mexican magazine “Siempre” from 1957. There is another picture of Elvis from the 50’s used under the see-through tray holding the CD. In addition , the back cover lists the tracks included on the CD as well as a gorgeous full color photo of Elvis from 1958. At the bottom of the cover it states : “Disco Promocional. Prohibida Su Venta.”. The BMG and RCA logos are also printed. 1500 copies were pressed. The CD itself is a picture disc showing the same picture as under the see-through tray that houses the CD. The entire sleeve (front and back) shows an imprint of a picture from the 1969 Las Vegas Press Conference on a red background. The front cover contains the following logo : “Elvis Presley - Limited Collector’s Edition”. The title of the track contained on the CD is also printed. In the lower left corner there is a reproduction of Elvis’ signature. The rear of the sleeve contains a logo advertising Elvis in the Dutch Cyberspace. The following phrase is also printed : “For promotional use only”. The CD itself is black with white print. It is made to resemble a record with a black label. The CD contains the BMG Sweden and RCA logos and the title of the CD. Issued in 1998 by BMG EU to promote the “Artist Of The Century Box Set”, “Sunrise”, “Tiger Man”, “Memories”, “Suspicious Minds”, “Rhythm & Country” and “Private Elvis” CD releases and given away at the “A Blue White Christmas - An Elvis Tribute” on December 19 -1998 , De Melkweg , Amsterdam , Holland. 

This 7 track promo CD is packaged exactly the same way as the official promo of this CD. It is presented in a digipack.The front cover shows the now famous “Artist Of The Century” logo designed by Klaus Voormann & Emmo Reiss. The inside of the digipack contains a short narrative proclaiming Elvis as the “Artist Of The Century”. It also boasts about the success of the Elvis ’97 Campaign as well as the upcoming 1999 campaign. The seven tracks are also listed on the inside cover on a dark blue background. The official promo has a black background. However , the “Mystery Train” track is listed as coming from the “Sunshine” CD instead of the “Sunrise” CD. In the bottom right corner , it states : “For Promotional Use Only - Not For Resale”. Underneath the CD , we have a black and white picture of Elvis with a guitar dancing on the RCA logo. The back cover shows us the complete “Elvis - Artist Of The Century” logo including the image of Elvis amongst the stars in the Universe. It also lists the tracks contained on the CD. It is interesting to note that the “Santa Claus Is Back In Town” track is listed by itself omitting the “Blue Christmas” selection. The back cover also contains the phrase : “For Promotional Use Only”. In addition , in the top right corner , it states : Special Issue on the occasion of “A Blue White Christmas - An Elvis Tribute” on December 19 -1998 , De Melkweg , Amsterdam , Holland. Aswell under the listing of the song , it states : “full length versions will be released in 1999”. This CD also comes with an insert promoting the “Elvis- The Concert 2 CD - Limited Numbered Edition”. The CD itself is blue with white print. At the top of the CD, the “Artist Of The Century” logo is reproduced. The CD is packaged in a slim jewel case. The front cover features a color shot of Elvis from the 1968 Comeback Special in his black leather suit. The title of the CD is written across the bottom of the cover. In the top left corner it states : “Special Promotion Edition 16th - 17th Augustus 1997 , Amsterdam”. The reverse of the cover insert shows a 1950’s black and white shot of Elvis in the recording studio plus a color shot of the “Always Elvis - The Dutch Album” cover and the track listing. In addition , there is also in Dutch text explanation of the purpose behind this disc plus the BMG and RCA logos as well as the various companies who sponsored the festival in Amsterdam. The words “Promotional Copy - Not For Sale” appears in the bottom left corner. The inside of the insert also contains an ad for a memorabilia company and a CD-ROM entitled “American Originals - Pin Up Girls”. The CD itself is silver with “Elvis” and “Special Promotion Edition” phrases written in red with a photo of Elvis in his Gold Suit plus the title of the CD and the RCA / BMG logos in grey/black. The disc features Dutch disc jockey Tom Mulder narrating the Elvis story in Dutch in addition to the extracts from the “Always Elvis - The Dutch Album”.
